Dr. West inherited the dental gene from a long line of dentists in her family, and she actually spent a great deal of her childhood in her family’s orthodontic practice just outside Atlanta in Monroe, GA. She ended up attending Auburn University and achieving her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology before earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine at The Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University. After graduating in 2008, she has practiced throughout Philadelphia and surrounding communities.
Dr. West and has a natural and easygoing way with patients, and her dental instinct and commitment to providing the utmost quality of care is tremendous. She enjoys providing technologically advanced diagnostic procedures and working closely with patients to help them feel fully comfortable. Being able to help them achieve excellent health and aesthetic results is always a great feeling for her. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Women Dentists, and the Pennsylvania Dental Association.
When she isn’t busy at the office, Dr. West enjoys listening to live music, spending weekends at the shore, eating big family meals, and traveling. She and her husband Andrew (also a dentist) have two young daughters. In the past, she’s also traveled to Haiti for a humanitarian effort, providing dental care and outreach to Haitians in need. She feels extremely fortunate to be doing something she genuinely loves as a profession, and she can’t wait to share her enthusiasm with the patients.
