If you have Delta Dental insurance, you are provided a wide array of services that are available to you should problems arise. Designed to encourage preventive care among patients, you will notice many dental insurance plans cover most, if not all, dental cleanings and checkups. This will not only serve as somewhat of a “Thank You” from your insurance company, but it keeps your out-of-pocket costs low, as you’ll be less likely to need dental work in the future. As a Delta Dental dentist in-network provider, Brookwood Dental will be here to help you every step of the way when it comes to your oral health.
Considered one of the largest dental insurance providers, your coverage makes you eligible for various services ranging from preventive to restorative care. Although your plan may be very different from your colleague’s, you can most likely expect your insurance plan to cover:
In order to receive access to these benefits, you are responsible for making a monthly premium payment. In return, these services become available should you need them. Depending on the type of work you need, you may be responsible for the copay, which is the money you must pay when services are rendered.
Apart from your monthly premium and copays, it’s important to remember that you will also have an annual maximum. Should you require treatment that costs more than your annual maximum, the insurance company will not provide coverage beyond the allotted amount. Because of this, we will strive to work with you to make sure your treatments are spread out over calendar years, if necessary.
As an in-network provider for Delta Dental, Brookwood Dental has negotiated services and cost with the insurance company, so you can rest easy knowing you are paying the lowest price for the highest level of quality service. Should you choose to see an out-of-network provider, that’s perfectly fine, too, as we will be happy to file claims and other paperwork necessary.
